Tatum Wise is born and raised in Houston, Texas. She started training in Latin Ballroom at the age of 9. She fell in love and quickly adapted to the lifestyle of a ballroom dancer. She trained hard with her coaches Michael and Jessica Blanco at Rhythm Inc Dance Studio. She started teaching when she was thirteen years old, and has never stopped! While training, she has competed all around the United States, making the finals and winning at ballroom competitions for partnering like Ohio Star Ball, Millennium Dancesport, Vegas Open Dance Challenge, and American Dance Pro. She also competed at solo/group competitions like Radix, 24/7, Showstopper, Starpower, In10sity, and many more. She has trained with many ballroom icons like Shirley Ballas, World Champions, Andra Vaidilaite and Ina Jeliazkova, and Dancing with the Stars, Lacey Shwimmer. Tatum loves to share the exciting and entertaining spirit of ballroom, while also diving deep into the technique that makes the style so beautiful.
